Ruth Luella Busack, age 86, of Redwood Falls, MN, passed away on December 26, 2012, at the Sunwood Care Center in Redwood Falls. Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at St. John Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 PM on Friday, December 28, 2012, with a prayer service at 7 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church, and will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Ruth Luella Busack (Sward) was born on December 28, 1925, to Knute and Dina (Schjenken) Sward in Belview, Minnesota, Redwood County. She was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith. Ruth attended and graduated from the Redwood Falls Public School District in June of 1944. After High School Ruth went to work for the J. C. Penney Store in Redwood Falls for eight years. On November 1, 1952, Ruth was united in marriage to Robert Busack in Redwood Falls, and together they had four sons. Over the years they farmed in the Echo Township, then moved to Redwood Falls in 1953, back to Echo in 1975, and upon retirement from farming in 1990, they moved back to Redwood Falls. Ruth was a Homemaker most of her married life and was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. She was involved with the Ladies Aide, and taught Sunday School, Release Time and Vacation Bible School in Redwood Falls. She was also a member of 4H, eventually becoming a leader, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and volunteered her time at the clothing center in Redwood Falls. On December 26, 2012, Ruth passed away at the Sunwood Care Center in Redwood Falls at the age of 86 years old. Ruth is survived by her four sons, Bradford (Diane) Busack of Redwood Falls, David (Julie) Busack of Fergus Falls, Dean (Katie) Busack of Vesta, and Thomas Busack of Echo; eight grandchildren, Kyle (Heather), Stacy, Heidi, Aaron (fiancé Lacey Woolery), Jason, Bryan (fiancé Leah Schleppegrell), Lisa, and Michael; two great – grandchildren, Teagan and Kaelyn, and one brother, Kenneth Sward. Her parents, husband Robert, two brothers, Gerald and Donald Sward, and one sister, Doris Wittwer preceded her in death. Blessed be her memory.
