Tim Naab, age 54, of Fresno, California, formerly of Wood Lake, Minnesota, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, in California. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2013 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Wood Lake, MN. Visitation will be held at the church from 5 -7 on Thursday August 29, 2013 with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. and will continue one hour prior to the services on Friday. Timothy Jon Naab was born on March 3, 1959 to Dennis and Delores (Steinhouse) Naab in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Posen Township. He attended Posen Parochial School and Wood Lake High School. On August 13, 1977, Tim was united in marriage to Sandi Fischer at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Posen Township. They made their home in Wood Lake for a few years and then moved to the St. Cloud area. In 2000, they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado and in 2006, they moved to Fresno, California. Tim was a Project Manager for URS Corporation at the IRS Center in Fresno, California. Tim was very proud to accomplish a management position in charge of 11 people with only having his GED. Tim was a farmer at heart. He loved gardening and especially flowers, loved riding motorcycle, hunting, camping, and the mountains. Tim loved people and people loved him. He always put everyone else first and would do anything for his friends and family. Tim loved his two dogs, Monty and Penny, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. His smile will be missed by many. Grateful for having shared in Tim’s life is his wife of 36 years, Sandi Naab of Fresno, CA; children, Justin Naab and Bobby (Jamie Harter) both of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Danielle, Joey, Devon, and Caden; his parents, Dennis and Delores Naab of Wood Lake; siblings, Maureen (Steve) Knutson, Steven (Sandy) Naab, Jena (Clark) Corbin, Jenny (David) Larsen, and; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. His sister, Kristine, uncle, Orlean, cousins, Brian and Curtis Naab, Aunt, Judy Naab, grandparents, and many cousins and friends preceded him in death. The Lord has since taken Tim’s uncle, Harlan Naab. Blessed be the memory of Tim.
