Danny Ray Chadwell - Echo

Danny Ray Chadwell, age 70 of Echo, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Parkview Home in Belview. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Rock Valle Lutheran Church in Echo. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 pm on Wednesday with a prayer service at 5:00 pm all at the church with visitation continuing one hour prior to the service at the church. Danny Ray Chadwell was born on February 20, 1944 in Clarkfield, MN to Raymond and Esther (Nyland) Chadwell Donner. He was confirmed at Granite Falls Lutheran Church. He attended schools in Hazel Run, Wabasso, Rawenna, Lamberton, and graduated from Granite Falls High School. Danny was united in marriage to Twyla Marie Anderson on June 29, 1968 at Rock Valle Lutheran Church in Echo. They lived in Granite Falls, Mosses Lake, WA, and Echo. They had three children. Danny worked at Munsing Wear in Minneapolis, Sebring’s Dairy in Granite Falls, Swans in Mosses Lake, Warner’s in Sacred Heart, drove semi cross country for Saffus of Redwood Falls, Kotek of Wood Lake, Curtis of Montevideo, and Jackpot Junction in Morton. After Twyla passed away, he raised his three children in Echo. He married Clarice Burnett Greene on September 16, 1989 at Ramsey Park in Redwood Falls. Danny passed away at the Parkview Home in Belview on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the age of 70 years old. He is survived by his wife, Clarice Chadwell of Echo; children, Terry Chadwell of Apple Valley, and Iris (Jeff) Zetah of Becker; mother, Esther Donner of Montevideo; brother Robert (Betty) Chadwell of Wausau, WI, sister Judy Winkler of Bemidji; step-children, Doug (Angie) Burnett of Fairfield, CA, John (Catherine) Burnett of Echo, Arron Greene of Sioux Falls, SD, Cheryl (Derik) Curruth of Morton, and Katherine Greene of Redwood Falls; 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond, daughter, Dana, step father, Lowell Donner, brother-in-law, Gary Winkler, grandparents, Olaus and Ida Nyland and Clara Chadwell. Blessed be his memory.
