Mildred Gullickson - Hanley Falls

Mildred Vera (Frank) Gullickson, age 85 of Hanley Falls, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2014 at the Granite Falls Manor in Granite Falls. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday December 19, 2014 at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls. Visitation will be held on hour prior the service at the church on Friday. Online condolences may be placed at www.sunsetfuneralassociation.com. Mildred Vera Frank Gullickson was born on January 9, 1929 to parents Robert and Laura Frank. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was united in marriage to Kermit O. Gullickson on October 18, 1952. One son, Paul was born on May 16, 1957. They lived in Hanley Falls where Kermit was in the cabinet business. She was active in the church women’s group(WELCA), taught Sunday School, active in Senior Citizens, volunteered in the Minnesota Machinery Museum and the Nurse Block Program. She loved to be outdoors working in her vegetable garden and lawns. Mildred is survived by her son Paul. Her parents, Robert and Laura; husband, Kermit; and two brothers, John and Ralph preceded her in death.
