Lucille Bahn, 95 of Hutchinson, formerly of Posen Township passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 in Rogers, Minnesota. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Posen Township. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Lucille Alma Bahn was born on Monday, April 5, 1920 in Posen Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota to Walter and Angline (Timm) Wenholz Sr... She was baptized and confirmed in the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Posen Township and grew up in Posen Township where she attended St. Luke’s Parochial School. Lucille was united in marriage to Martin Bahn on March 5, 1939 in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. They lived in Posen Township until 1948 when they moved to Midway City, California where they lived for ten years. They returned to Minnesota in 1958 living in Cottonwood where they owned and operated the Bahn Grocery Store. In 1977, they moved to Crosby, Minnesota living there until 1981 when they moved to Hutchinson. Lucille’s first love was her family and spending time with them and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and music and playing cards. On Friday, January 9, 2015 Lucille passed away in Rogers, Minnesota at the age of 95 years old. She is survived by her daughters and daughters-in-law and families, daughter Joy Bahn of Chandler, AZ, grandchild, Jessyca (Bradon) Peterson, great grandchildren, Aydon, Madasyn, and Haylie, daughter Patricia Bahn of Biloxi, MS, grandchildren, Thomas Weber, Stephanie (Ryan) Krueger, great grandchildren, Reaghan, and Tyler, and daughter-in-law Betsy Bahn of Andover, MN, grandchildren, Mike Bahn, Greg (Sauwanee) Bahn, Andy (Jackie) Bahn, and Stacey(Eric) Roberts, great grandchildren, Ian, Jackson (Jackie), Nadya, Sam, and Martha, Daughter-inlaw Donna Bahn of Boca Raton, FL, grandchildren, Lindsey (John) Trylch, Sally Bahn, and Brian (Karen) Bahn, great grandchildren, Liam, Isabelle, and Anna; siblings, Ruth Timm, Nona (Clayton) Anderson, Connie (Richard) Schrupp, and Walter (Sandra) Timm, and many extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband Martin, sons Jerome and Dale, parents Walter and Angline, and her sister Betty Timm. Blessed be her memory.
