Ferne Winona Rakke – Utz age 80 of Foley formerly of Belview passed away on Friday April 17, 2015 at her home in Foley. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday April 24, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church in St. Cloud. Visitation will be held on hour prior to the service at Faith Lutheran Church on Friday. Ferne Winona Rakke – Utz was born on March 24, 1935 at home in Kintire Township, Redwood, County, MN to Oscar and Lena (Schjenken) Fossum. She was baptized on June 30, 1935 and confirmed at the Evangelical Lutheran Church now known as Grace Lutheran Church in Belview. Ferne was united in marriage to Leslie M. Rakke. To this union 6 children were born, Linda, Cheryl, Randy, Ronald, Donald and Ken. Her husband Leslie passed away on February 2, 2003. She was united in marriage to Arnold D. Utz on May 29, 2004 and he passed away on March 26, 2015. She is survived by her children, Linda McGowan of Rice, Cheryl Gave of St. Cloud, Randy (Sandra) Rakke of St. Cloud, Ronald (Toni) Rakke of St. Cloud, Donald (Jill) Rakke, and Ken (Tami) Rakke of Foley. 13 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren. Step Children, Jackie (Marv) Anderson of Waite Park, Amy Robbins of St. Cloud, Arnold David (Mary) Utz Jr. of Ronneby, Cecelia (Guy) Olson of Clear Lake, Donald Utz of Waite Park, Dennis Utz of Clear Lake, 12 step grandchildren, 26 step great grandchildren and 1 step great-great grandchild. Also surviving is her sister Opal Ingebretson, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Lena Fossum, her two husbands Leslie Rakke and Arnold Utz, four brothers, Oscar Jr., Owen, Norris and Lloyl, sister, Dagmar Rebstock, and grandson Kevin Gave.
