Charles Lawrence Jenniges, age 61, of Lucan, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at his home in Lucan surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Lucan. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, from 9 – 11 am on Friday at the church. The Sunset funeral & Cremation Association is caring for the family. www.sunsetfuneralassociation.com (507) 925 - 4145 Charles Lawrence Jenniges was born on November 10, 1953 to Gilbert and Lorraine (Schumacher) Jenniges in Springfield, Minnesota and grew up in Wanda. He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith, attended elementary school in Wanda and went to Wabasso High School. On June 21, 1974, Charles was united in marriage to Shari Stynski at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Lucan. They made their home in Lucan where Charles worked as a millwright for Northern States Elevator Construction and most recently as a welder for CW Welding and Fabrication in Vesta. Charles was a past member of the Lucan Lions Club and Volunteer Fire Department. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, working and spending time with his boys, grandkids, family and friends. On Thursday, May 21, 2015 Charles passed away at his home in Lucan surrounded by his family at the age of 61. He is survived by his wife Shari of Lucan; three boys Jonah (Jessica) Jenniges of Prior Lake, Jared (Melissa Raak) Jenniges of Lucan and Jace Jenniges of Lucan; grandchildren Austin, Candace, Cameron, Evelyn, Eastin and Ava Jenniges; siblings Diane (Bob) Guetter of Redwood Falls, Duane (Eudean) Jenniges of Vesta, Richard (JoAnn) Jenniges of Wanda, Gilbert (Diane) Jenniges of O’Fallon, MO, Kenneth (LeeAnn) Jenniges of Redwood Falls, Lee Jenniges of Wanda, Paul (Cheryl) Jenniges of Huron Lake, Nadine Jenniges of Wabasso, Dale (Marlene) Jenniges of Wanda, June Jenniges of Hastings, Lori Jenniges of Redwood Falls, Gwen (Duane) Fennern of Wanda and Jolene (Elliot) Reed of Brooklyn Park and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald, and best friend “Bud” Stynski. Blessed be his memory.
