Gary Orville Kremin

Gary Kremin, 69, of Redwood Falls, MN passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Vesta. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 PM on Thursday with a prayer service at 6:45 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home in Echo and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. The Sunset Funeral & Cremation Association is caring for the family.   Gary Orville Kremin was born on June 29, 1947 in Tracy, Minnesota to Orville and Deloris (Meier) Kremin. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Vesta and graduated from Milroy Public School. After high school, Gary joined the Army National Guard. On November 18, 1967, Gary was united in marriage to Dolly Mae Petersen at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Marshall. To this union four children were born; Karmen, Kari, Kay and Kipper. Gary was also blessed with two more children, John and Noah. Gary enjoyed being outdoors, watching wildlife, fishing, camping, hunting, trapping, going to the casino and collecting things. On Sunday, December 11, 2016 Gary passed away at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 69. He is survived by his special friend of 27 years Roxanne Campbell; children Karmen (Lisa) Kremin of Redwood Falls, Kari Springer of Redwood Falls, Kay (Shane) Boney of Belview, Kipper (Cheryl VanMeveren) Kremin of Redwood Falls, John Kremin of Redwood Falls and Noah Kremin of Redwood Falls; grandchildren Kayla, Jacob, Jesse, Isaiah, Dallas, Sonny, Fletcher and Tallulah; siblings Roger (Karen Wolf) Kremin, Brenda (Mark) Tjosaas and Randy (Lori) Kremin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Brent Kremin and sister-in-law Jane Kremin.
