A livestream and recording of the service will be available at www.lowafc.org. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Durham Glenn Snider was born on December 16, 1975, in Misawa, Aomori-ken, Japan, to Roger Snider and Heath Bozonie. Durham’s father was in the Air Force and later worked for the state department, which sent the family all over the world, including Japan, Italy, Zaire, and Belgium, before returning to the United States. Durham graduated from Apollo High School in St. Cloud, MN, then earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from NDSU. After college, Durham worked as a surveyor. He met Christina “Tina” Guetter through mutual friends in St. Cloud, and the couple was married on December 27, 2003. They raised their two daughters, Myra and Brinna, in Fargo, ND, and moved to Vesta, MN, in 2020. After moving to Minnesota, Durham worked as a driving instructor. Durham was a lifelong learner who spent a lot of time reading, researching, and asking questions. He wanted to know all sides of an issue, not just one person’s opinion. He loved trivia and puzzles. Durham was a wonderful father and husband. He saw everything as a teaching moment, and he was always supportive of his girls. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughters, taking them on canoe trips and to shooting ranges, and teaching them to be independent. Durham died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. He is survived by his wife Tina and daughters Myra and Brinna; father Roger Snider; brother Jordan (Katie) Snider, their children Jonas and Fauberson; brother Roman Snider; sister Kenzi (Charlie) Brown, their son Gehrig; mother- and father-in-law Kathy and Greg Guetter; in-laws Chris Guetter; Stacy Tostenrud, her children Kendra and Gavin; DeeAnn (Will) Stalvey, their daughter Cassidy; Erin (Ben) Dahmes, their children Alexis and Ava; uncle Mike (Linda Lucas) Bozonie; aunt Elizabeth Bozonie; cousin Lillian Bozonie; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Heath Bozonie and niece Evangeline Stalvey. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. Anne’s School new construction project.
