When Betty was four, her family moved to Loveland, CO, where she grew up and attended school. After high school, Betty went to cosmetology school in Fort Collins, CO. She began her working career as a retail auditor, quickly advancing to director of merchandising and marketing, and purchasing agent in her final working years. On August 29, 1998, Betty was united in marriage to Paul Williams near Hill City, SD. The couple moved to Lucan in March 2018 to be closer to family. In her free time, Betty enjoyed crafting, traveling, and camping. She was a voracious reader of fiction, non-fiction, and of course her Bible. Betty loved being in the sunshine and spending time outdoors. Music was important to her, and she enjoyed singing and playing guitar with her family. Betty was an exceptionally kind and soft-hearted person who accepted and loved everyone she met. Betty died on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Ava’s House in Sioux Falls, SD.
