Michelle Kaye Bach

A private, family service will be held at a later date for Michelle Bach, 49, of Cottonwood. Michelle Kaye (Goff) Bach was born on April 30, 1971, in Cabot, Vermont, to Ron and Marcia (Rixe) Goff. Joining sisters Julie and Jennifer, Michelle attended school in Clinton, MN, and graduated from Marshall High School. She attended Central College in Pella, IA, and graduated in Spanish Language Studies. Fluid in Spanish, she was a world traveler. She lived for a time in Mexico and attended her junior year of college in Spain. Michelle returned to Marshall and met her husband to be, Duane Bach. Married 24 years, they made Cottonwood their home for the last twelve years and raised two daughters, Isabel and McKenna. In her most recent years, the family battled Huntington’s Disease that Michelle was diagnosed with in 2010. She loved her husband, her daughters, music, the Twins and Vikings, and was so grateful and happy to be at home. Michelle passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. She is survived by her husband, DJ, daughters Kenna and Izzy, step-children Kahlynn, Desi and Kyle, mother Marcia, sisters Julie and Jen, in-laws Lisa, Kris, Tammy and Danny. She was preceded in death by her father, Ron, grandparents Carl and Kit Rixe and Eleanor and Carrol Goff. Chelle - I hope you dance.
