Sharon Kay Ebnet

Sharon Ebnet, 61, of Wabasso, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:30 PM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso with visitation beginning at 12:30 PM and continuing until the time of service. Interment will be at St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery. The Sunset Funeral & Cremation Association is caring for the family.     Sharon Kay (Evers) Ebnet was born on April 26, 1957 to Harley and Delores (Gisch) Evers in Comfrey, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Comfrey and graduated from Comfrey High School in 1975. On October 15, 1977, Sharon was united in marriage to Kenneth Ebnet at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. They lived in Clements for a short time until moving to their farm near Wabasso. Sharon was a homemaker, mother and provided daycare for local families. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, loved her dogs and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. On Sunday, December 16, 2018, Sharon passed away unexpectedly at her residence near Wabasso at the age of 61. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Ebnet of Wabasso; two children Randy (Melissa) Ebnet of Wabasso and Kristi (Rod) Selzler of Granite Falls; four grandchildren Heidi and Jake Ebnet and Kaylee and Emily Selzler; two brothers Ken (Nancy) Evers and Ron Evers; two sisters Karen Evers and Diane Evers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Harley and Delores Evers. Blessed be her memory.
