Shirley Irma Hoffman

Shirley Hoffman, 76, of Wabasso, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Golden Living Center in Wabasso.   Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Willow Lake Township.  Visitation will be from 4 – 8 PM on Monday at the Sunset Funeral Home in Wabasso and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The Sunset Funeral & Cremation Association is caring for the family. Shirley Irma Hoffman was born on December 2, 1940 in New Avon Township, Redwood County to Walter and Hertha Hoffman. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and attended country school district 8.  Shirley enjoyed babysitting, fancy work and baking.  In 1994, Shirley did cleaning for Jonti Craft and Puzzle Craft in Wabasso and other residences.  In 1995 she moved to Wabasso and in 2008 she retired from work.  Shirley is survived by one sister Julene (Leeun) Werner of Little Falls; sister-in-law Ruth Hoffman of Morgan; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Doris Ann, brother Alvin, and niece Connie Kuhn. Blessed be her memory.
