A private family graveside service and interment for Steven “Steve” Bahn, 43, of Granite Falls will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Cemetery in Posen Township. A walk-through visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home in Echo on Wednesday, September 30, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. In accordance with COVID guidelines, mask and social distancing requirements will be observed. Steven “Steve” Curtis Bahn was born on June 19, 1977, in Granite Falls to Herman C. and Corrine (Prairie) Bahn. Steve grew up in Wood Lake and graduated from Lakeview High School in Cottonwood. He was a card dealer at various casinos around Minnesota, most recently at Prairie’s Edge in Granite Falls. Steve was an avid sports fan, following the Minnesota Wild, New York Giants, and North Carolina Tar Heels. In his free time, Steve could be found fishing for walleye. He was very social, and he enjoyed visiting and fishing with close friends. Steve died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at the Granite Falls Hospital. He is survived by his sons Isaiah and Alex Ross-Bahn, and their mother LaToya Ross-Sullivan of Staples; father Herman Bahn of Wood Lake; siblings Kenton Bahn of Oviedo, FL, Alan (Gina) Bahn of Wood Lake, Linda (Gary) Raddatz of Wood Lake, Janelle (Todd) Bossuyt of Cottonwood, Galen (Michaelle) Bahn of Champlin, and Kevin (Betsy) Bahn of New Prague; grandmother Hazel Bahn of Belview; 12 nieces and nephews, and 12 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Corrine Bahn, and grandparents Herman Bahn Sr., and Glen and Marie Prairie.
