Brian Gregory Anderson

Brian Anderson, age 21, of Redwood Falls, passed away February 20, 2012, in Cambridge, Mass. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Grace Lutheran Church in Belview. Visitation will be Friday February 24 from 3 to 8 p.m. and continue from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday from Grace Lutheran Church. Arrangements are being handled by Sunset Funeral and Cremation Association of Echo and Wabasso. Brian Gregory Anderson was born on November 28, 1990 in Redwood Falls to Gregory and Cecilia (Kroening) Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church, where he participated in Luther League. He attended Reed Gray Elementary School and graduated from Redwood Valley High School in 2009 where he was a National Merit Scholar. Brian was currently attending M.I.T where he was a junior. He attained the rank of Eagle Scout in 2009 as a member of Boy Scout Troop #70 in Redwood Falls. Brian was also known for his wrestling abilities at the high school and collegiate levels. Brian passed away on February 20, 2012 in Cambridge, Massachusetts attaining the age of 21 years, 2 months and 23 days. He is survived by his parents Gregory and Cecilia, brothers, Raymond and wife Phyllis Ukatu of Reedley, CA and Thomas and special friend Alyssa Buysse of Anoka, and Grandmother Betty Prahl of Redwood Falls, Grandparents George and Nancy Kroening of Brooklyn Park along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Raymond Anderson and Harvey Prahl. Blessed be his memory.
